Dedicated to the memory of Geoffrey Beard

This site is a tribute to Geoffrey Beard, who was born on June 12, 1933. He is much loved and will always be remembered.
The death occurred at Westbury Court Nursing Home on 23rd November, 2018 of Geoffrey Beard, aged 85 years.

The funeral service took place at Christchurch Parish Church on Monday 3rd December with Reverend Robin Mann officiating. The processional music was a recording of Unforgettable performed by Nat King Cole. The hymns The day Thou gavest and Abide with me were sung by the congregation accompanied by organist, Ian Ormerod. Tributes to Geoffrey were given by Suzanne and Richard Jones and Neville Edmunds read from the poem My Forest of Dean. The recessional music Return to sender recorded by Elvis Presley was requested by Geoffrey.

The service was followed by a committal ceremony at Mile End Cemetery.

The funeral arrangements were carried out by Ernest Heal & Sons Funeral Directors who are collecting donations for Forest Sensory Services, which would be sincerely appreciated.
